Parks and Gardens in Jaipur

The city of Jaipur - Rajasthan is blessed with many "Gardens" that further enhance the beauty of the place. The gardens provide a touch of serenity to the otherwise busy life of Jaipur. Jaipur can boast of many natural and artificial gardens. Being a well planned city, the Government takes special care of the Gardens to facilitate the growth of the tourism industry.

The "Ram Niwas Garden" of the city encompasses a large green area with colorful flower beds and fountains that add to the beauty of the place. The zoo, a museum, a sports complex and a bird sanctuary are the other attractions of the garden.

The "Zoological Garden" is located within the premises of the Ram Niwas Garden. The zoological garden brings the tourist close to nature by exposing them to the varied species of birds and wild animals.

The "Vidyadhar Garden" was named after the main designer of the city of Jaipur, Mr. Vidyadhar Bhattacharya.

The garden is located in the midst of a vast stretch of green valley which is very appealing to the tourist.

Situated at at a distance of half a kilometer from the Vidyadharji-ka-bagh, is the famous "Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh" which houses the well known palace built by Sawai Jai Singh. The place is frequented by tourist almost all round the year that gives solace from the regular routine of daily life.

The "Kanak Vrindavan Garden", also fondly called as the Kanak Ghati, has many fountains, ponds and temples that dispels the boredom from the life of the visitors.
