Senapati District Map

The lush green district of Senapati covers an area of 3271.00 Sq. km and is home to 2,08,406 people as per 2001 census. The district is situated between 93.29º and 94.15º E Longitudes and between 24.37º and 25.37º N, Latitude. Senapati is bounded by Imphal on the south, on the north by the state of Nagaland, by Ukhrul on the east and on the west by Tamenglong.

Agriculture is the main source of income for the people of Senapati. Paddy, maize and vegetables are the most cultivated crops of the district.
