Badaun District Map
Budaun, the holy land of saints and Sufis, is a district situated in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The holy river Ganga flows by the district, which is located at 28º 02’ 30” North Latitude and 79º 01’ 20” East Longitude.
It is an administrative center and the total area of the Budaun District is 51, 680 sq. km. Budaun has a population of 24, 48,340.
Budaun has an agrarian economy and it mainly trades in grain, cotton, sugarcane, and oilseed.
Budaun used to be an important military outpost under the Mughals. Jama Masjid, which is internationally reckoned as the Great Mosque, is in Budaun and attracts many tourists every year.
