Jalpaiguri District Map

The Jalpaiguri district is located in West Bengal. It had a population of 100,212 in 2001. It is situated in the Tarai region of the Himalayas and the Tista river flows through it.

The main industry of Jalpaiguri is the cultivation of tea. Other small scale industries are making woolen garments and wooden furnitures.
