Commonwealth Games Tickets

The nineteenth Commonwealth Games are scheduled to be held in Delhi in India. Scheduled to start from the 3rd - 14th October the Commonwealth Games 2010 will be the largest multisport event ever held in India. The opening ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Delhi. There would be 17 games held in six venue clusters and five stand alone venues.


The first phase of ticket sales was launched by the Organizing Committee Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi for the members of the Commonwealth Games Associations on 15 November 2009 - 15 January 2010. The second phase commenced from 15 January 2010 - 31 March 2010 and the third and ongoing phase will carry on till the games.

There are also a host of free events that are meant for sports enthusiast. So if you are really crazy about sports and want to be a part of a few games like Road Racing and Marathon then it is time you get yourself a ticket from the nearest retail sale outlet or through the official Delhi 2010 sales channels or the Games website.

Tickets for General Public

There are around 1.7 million tickets that are available for the general public from June 2010. These tickets could be purchased from the selected retail outlets in Delhi - National Capital Region (NCR) and most of major metros. The tickets for the XIX Commonwealth Games are subject to availability, and will remain on sale until the start of each event. The ticket sales program will also provide registered users with an opportunity to receive information on the latest updates about tickets sales.
