Gymnastics in Commonwealth Games comprise Artistic Gymnastics and Rhythmic Gymnastics. However, Rhythmic Gymnastics is inclusive of women. Artistic Gymnastics, which had only male participants, was held from 4th to 8th October and the main events were Gymnastics in 2010 Commonwealth Games was held in Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium. The training sessions were held at the Yamuna Sports Complex and Indira Gandhi Stadium. While women competed for 36 medals in all, men competed for 24 medals.
