However, Mishra was removed by Kejriwal after the former accused the later of corruption. However, the corruption charges against Arvind Kejriwal were dropped latter by Lokayukta after Mishra failed to substantiate his claims. -Kapil Mishra is the co-founder and coordinator of a New Delhi based youth action group, "Youth For Justice". It raises and fights for many social causes and also raised voice against the Jessica Lal murder case, farmer's suicide, Yamuna River bed encroachment, etc. -After his disqualification from the Delhi Assembly on August 2, 2019, under the anti-defection law, Kapil Mishra formally joined BJP on August 17, 2019. -He recently grabbed news headlines with his controversial tweet saying: "There will be a contest on Delhi Roads between India and Pakistan on February 8".
