Diu Island economy is dependent on the tourism industry since it witnesses a large number of tourists all the year round. Being an island on the west coast of India, there is a great potential for it to develop a seaweed factory, which would cater to the people of the Diu Island by providing them with new job opportunities.
Industry of Diu Island
The backbone of Diu Island is the tourism industry. It is a tiny island with not a large population.
