Delhi University Cut off List 2018

The 2018 - 2019 session of the Delhi University' will begin from July 20. The Delhi University has made a slight change in its admission procedure. The admissions for the prestigious Delhi University will begin after the release of the first cut-off list on June 19, 2018. Though slight changes have been introduced in the admission process of Delhi University, the admission will be done on the basis of scores of the qualifying examination i, e Class XII board examination. The calculation of the marks for admissions in the Delhi University will be done on the basis of the "Best of Four formula" wherein the average of the highest marks in any four subjects will be considered.

The first cut off list will be released soon by the Delhi University on June 19th. For those who will not be eligible to take admissions after the release of the first list can wait for the second list. The Delhi University is going to release five cut-off lists for the students. More lists will be released only if there will be an availability of seats. .

Factors to be kept in mind before the release of the DU-cut off list of 2018-.

  1. Best of Four- Before going to any college for seeking admissions do calculate your 'best of four subject marks'.
  2. Programme- Decide the programme in which you want to take admission. Don't just depend on the cut-off rather focus on the course.
  3. Cut off trend- Analyze the previous year cut-offs as this will give you an idea about the upcoming cut-off list.
  4. Seats- Keep a check on the total number of seats for the programme you are going to pursue and seek admissions as soon as possible before the seats are occupied.
The one thing that has come as a shock for most students aspiring to pursue a B Com Honors from Sri Ram College of Commerce is the 100 percent cut off requirement mentioned in the Delhi University cut off list. There are also many other colleges that have kept their cut off marks ranging between 95 - 99 percent.
