Over 30 Killed in Pune Landslide

The massive landslide in Malin village in Ambegaon on Wednesday destroyed more than 40 houses and claimed over 30 lives. Though the rescue operations are being hindered by rains, the team is making the best efforts to clear the piles of mud and stones and extricate the buried. As per media reports, over 120 people are still feared trapped under the debris.

As per media reports, due to a landslide in Pune on Tuesday, over 100 people are feared buried under the debris. The Ambegaon village as well as the Mumbai-Pune expressway has been adversely affected by the landslide. The search and rescue operations are underway in the region.
