Blast in Bangalore’s Church Street; One Killed

A low-intensity blast has hit Bangalore on the busy Church Street which killed one person and left few others injured. As per media reports, the bomb was filled with shrapnel and was placed near a drain in front of the Coconut Grove restaurant. The restaurant is close to MG Road and Brigade Road which are filled with restaurants and bars and are crowded during the weekends. According to media reports Home Minister Rajnath Singh spoke to Karnataka CM S Siddaramaiah regarding the blast and offered help from the Centre.
