Tamil Nadu Under Cyclone Threat

As per reports from the MWhat are Cyclones: Types, Causes and Effectset department, cyclone NADA which is building up in the Bay of Bengal may hit Tamil Nadu coast on Friday. The cyclone may also make a landfall between Vedaranyam in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Moderate rainfall may start in Chennai from tonight, while north coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry may receive heavy rainfall from Thursday.

Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea.

Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy said the administration is well-prepared for the cyclone.
