Cyclone Mora hits Bangladesh and North-East India

Cyclone Mora, with winds of up to 117 kilometers per hour, has made landfall in Bangladesh. As per the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, the storm struck at 6.00 am (local time) between Cox’s Bazar and Chttagong port. Around 3000,000 people have been moved from Bangladesh’s southern coastal areas to shelters. In the Indian states of West Bengal and Odisha also a heavy rainfall warning has been issued.
