  • Nissan Magnite

The 2024 Nissan Magnite was launched on October 4, 2024. The car has been launched with several cosmetic changes and new features. The price for the base model starts at Rs. 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs. 11.66 lakh (ex-showroom). The Magnite comes in 30 variants, each catering to a consumer’s different needs.

The car has three transmissions: manual, automatic (AMT), and automatic (CVT). The manual transmission has 15 variants, the AMT transmission has 8, and the CVT transmission has 7.

Interior

The Magnite now has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a wireless smartphone charger. It also has four-colour adjustable ambient lighting. Moreover, new exciting features include a remote engine start, walk-away lock and approach unlock functions, cooled glove box storage, and an onboard air ioniser, which is very suitable for persons with allergies or respiratory conditions.

The Car comes with two engine options. The first is a 1.0L Petrol Engine producing 72 PS of power at 6250 rpm and having a max torque of 96 Nm at 3400-3600 rpm. The second is a 1.0L Turbo Petrol Engine producing 100 PS of power at 5000 Nm and having a max torque of 160 Nm at 2800–3600 RPM.

Safety

The car has standard six airbags for all variants. It uses 67% of high-tensile steel, making it a safe vehicle. To ensure safe parking of the car, it has a 360° parking camera. The car has been launched in 4 variants. Since it is an MPV, the car is configurable in 6 and 7-seater options. It comes with two battery packs: 55.4 kWh offers a range of 420 Km, and 71.8 kWh offers a range of 530 km. It comes solely in the automatic transmission.

Interior

The car has a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel and a 5-inch TFT full LCD combination instrument. In the higher models, it also boasts a ventilated seat for the driver and front passenger.

The car has six speakers, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also charges phones wirelessly and has an air filter for the cabin.

Exterior

The car has a panoramic glass roof for the higher-end model and roof rails, giving the car a modern and attractive look. With a foldable flatbed 3rd row, there is a spacious 580 litre of boot space. It has crystal diamond floating LED headlamps with a dragon face design.

Engine

Since it is an electrical vehicle, the car has an AC permanent magnet synchronous motor and is front-wheel drive. The maximum power output is 120 kw for the lower model and 150 kw for the higher models. The maximum torque for both of these models is 310 Nm, and the speed is limited to 180 km/h.

The car has 3 variants, all of which have automatic transmissions. It also comes with 2 fuel types and transmissions: mild hybrid (electric + petrol) and mild hybrid (electric + diesel).

Interior
