The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is one of the leading education boards in India. It opens the door to higher education for the students. Every year students in a large number of students sit in the board examinations. This time these were done in two terms.
While the Term 1 exams were held from November 30, 2021, to December 11, 2021, the Term 2 exams took place from April 26, 2022, to May 24, 2022. Earlier, CBSE released the result of Class 10th Term1, which contained only grades. The Term 2 result will have marks obtained in Term 1 and Tem 2 along with the qualifying status of a candidate.
According to the speculations, this year’s CBSE class 10th results were expected to be declared on July 4, 2022, and created a buzz around social media.
Several memes were shared on Twitter and other social media platforms regarding the same. All this came to an end when a CBSE official gave an official confirmation that the results would not be declared on that day.
The official date of declaration of CBSE Class 10 results is still awaited. Once declared, it will be available on CBSE’s official website – www.cbseresults.nic.in. You can also check them on www.results.gov.in and digilocker.gov.in.
How to check CBSE Class 10th Term 2 results?
Before you check your CBSE Class 10th Term result, keep your board Roll Number, School identification number, and Date of Birth with you. You can follow the steps given below to check your board result:
Step 1: Visit the website of CBSE, www.cbseresults.nic.in
Step 2: Go to the “CBSE 10th result 2022” window
Step 3: Enter your credentials like Board Roll number, School Identification Number/ School Code, and Date of Birth
Step 4: Click on the Login/Submit button
Step 5: Your Class 10th result will appear on the screen
Step 6: Download your online result and take a printout for future reference
Besides the CBSE official website, your results will also be available on DigiLocker and UMANG apps.
In the academic year 2021-22, the CBSE exams were conducted in two terms covering 50% syllabus each term. A total of 2116209 candidates appeared for the CBSE Class 10th examination. Out of the 894993 were female candidates and 1221195 were male candidates, and 21 other candidates. These exams were held at 7046 centres across the country.
Due to the COVID-19 second wave, the board exams were cancelled, and the final result was declared using a unique assessment scheme. The marks obtained by a student in unit tests, half-yearly examinations, and pre-board examinations were taken into consideration.
This year, a candidate must score at least 33% marks in theory and practicals to pass the examination. The registration for the compartment exams will start soon after the declaration of the final result.
CBSE has not declared any date and time for the results, but they are expected to release soon. Moreover, from the academic year 2022-23, CBSE has confirmed that the exams will be held in a once-a-year format.
