Voter Arrested in Thiruvananthapuram
A voter named Abin Babu has been arrested in Thiruvananthapuram after he made a false complaint regarding the malfunctioning in the polling machine. Reportedly, he said that his vote went to a candidate different for whom he cast his vote. Babu was voting at Vattiyoorkavu’s booth no. 151.

2 Voters Died in Kerala
As per the reports, two voters have died in Kerala. A news agency has reported that two senior citizens were waiting for their turn to vote but died after collapsing. One incident took place at Chokli Rama Vilasam L P School booth where 65-year-old Vijayi died. Another happened at Vadasserikkara where 80-year-old Pappachan breathed his last.

The acts of violence have been increasing in West Bengal. Some have witnessed bombing at Raninagar, Murshidabad’s booth no 27 and 28. A handful of men were behind the attack. However, the locals couldn’t see their faces clearly and hence can’t identify them.

Akhilesh Yadav Alleges of Country-Wide EVM Malfunctioning
Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav has alleged that the malfunctioning of EVMs is taking place all over India. He took to Twitter to brought the issue to light. He tweeted “EVMs across India malfunctioning or voting for the BJP. DMs say poll officials untrained to operate EVMs. 350+ being replaced.
