  • Accessible 300 Units of Electricity: Every family will get free 300 units of electricity in a month.
  • Free Medical Treatment Up to ₹25 Lakh: The party promised that the government would provide free medical treatment up to ₹25 Lakh, which it claimed would follow the model of the famous Chiranjeevi scheme of Andhra Pradesh.

  • ₹2,000 Monthly Allowance: A monthly allowance of ₹2,000 would be given to women above 18 years.

Social Security Empowered

  • ₹6,000 Pension to Elderly: Pension of ₹6,000 per month for each elderly citizen.
  • ₹6,000 Disability Pension: Those having disabilities will receive a disability pension of ₹6,000 per month.
  • ₹6,000 Widow Pension: The widow will receive ₹6,000 as a pension.

Backward Classes Rights

  • Taking Caste Census: A caste census will be taken to better understand the various needs of different communities.
  • Increase the Creamy Layer Limit to ₹10 Lakh: Income qualification for making a creamy layer will be increased to ₹10 lakh.

Welfare of Farmers

  • Statutory Guarantee of MSP: MSP for crops will be statutorily guaranteed.
  • Crop Loss Compensation: Compensation for crop loss will be provided instantaneously to farmers.

Welfare of Poor

  • 100-yard plots: Housing allotment will be done by distributing 100-yard plots.
  • ₹3.5 Lakh will be the cost for two-room houses.

Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress chief, said the party would ensure a 100-yard plot and ₹3.5 lakh towards the construction cost of houses for poor people. He also promised that MSP would be assured to farmers and there would be a caste census in Haryana, which would help evaluate the status of different castes and communities concerning welfare schemes, income, education, and employment.

BJP Manifesto for Haryana Assembly Election 2024

In the 2024 Haryana Assembly election manifesto, the BJP has projected an elaborate plan for economic growth, employment, healthcare, and social welfare. Here are a few key points in more detail:

  1. Lado Laxmi Yojana: A monthly stipend of ₹2,100 is given to all women to give them financial empowerment and help the women in the state.
  2. 10 Industrial Cities: As part of this agenda, similar to the one announced for IMT Kharkhoda, the BJP assures that it will build 10 new industrial cities with incentives for entrepreneurship. Each of these cities will provide employment to 50,000 local youth and thus contribute to local employment and development.
  3. Chirayu Ayushman Yojana: Three lakh rupees cover per family and five lakh rupees for the aged (70+ years) for absolutely free healthcare coverage. This policy will bring down the financial burden associated with diseases.
  4. Minimum Support Price (MSP): MSP coverage shall be increased to 24 crops from 14, so the farmer gets reasonable returns, and the market cannot play with their price.
  5. Government Jobs for Youth: An assured 2 lakh jobs from the government bureaucracy, thus directly providing a fillip to the unemployment of youth.
  6. National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme: Employment of 5 lakh youth through stipends every month for training, which, in turn, will help in reducing the unemployment of youth through training and skills development.
  7. Housing for All: 5 lakh houses will be constructed in urban and rural areas.
  8. Free Dialysis Facilities: Under the scheme, citizens would have free dialysis facilities in government hospitals and enhanced public health infrastructure.
  9. Olympic Games Nurseries: Sports nurseries should be developed at every district level for young budding sports persons to nurture their talents and promote sports and physical education.
  10. Subsidized LPG Cylinders: Availability of LPG cylinders to every house at ₹500 per cylinder for the citizen under Har Ghar Grahini Yojana for reduced household energy expenditure.
  11. Scooters for Rural College-Going Girls: The scooter facility will be available to female students in rural areas under the umbrella of Awal Balika Yojana, facilitating better mobility and access towards education.
  12. Agni Veer Jobs: Government employment for every Agni Veer—Every such veteran Agni Veer will get assured government employment.
