
Good things do not last forever, goes the saying. Well, even if it is temporary we should enjoy it to the fullest. As of now, it’s the mango season; it comes every year and I make full use of it every time. I’ve shared a few mango recipes in last few weeks, and here is another one for you to try. I recently happened to visit a mango festival and was amazed to see what all people had done with the king of fruits. It can be used in so many ways to make your recipes, and this time I used it to make Mango Raita. It’s extremely easy to make and would be relished by all. I spiced it up slightly to get a great flavor. Don’t wait. Just go ahead and make this at your home!
Ingredients (serves 4)
Mangoes – 1 cup (cut in tiny pieces)
Dahi – 500 gms
Salt to taste
Red chili powder – 1/4 tsp
Roasted cumin powder – 1/4 tsp
Mango pieces to garnish
Coriander leaves for garnishing
How to make Mango Raita
Preparation time: 5 min.
Making time: 10 min.
- Whisk the dahi till smooth in texture. If it is too thick you can add some milk.
- Add cut mango pieces and mix well.
- Add salt, red chili powder, roasted cumin powder and mix well.
- Garnish with mango pieces and coriander leaves.
- Refrigerate for an hour.
- Serve chilled
