Causes of Strawberry skin
The distinctive appearance of strawberry legs can be brought on by several different disorders, some of which may overlap.- Shaving: Strawberry legs can occasionally result when done incorrectly with old, dull blades or without shaving lotion.
- Clogged pores: Your legs' skin has hundreds of pores, and just like other pores, they are susceptible to clogging with debris, dead skin cells, and bacteria. Open comedones are the term for these blocked pores. The oil in the clogged pores oxidises and turns black when exposed to the air.
- Folliculitis: Folliculitis is when the irritated and occasionally infected hair follicles. Shaving, waxing, or other hair removal procedures that expose and open the hair follicle can cause this condition.
