History
Graffiti art can be traced back to prehistoric times. Its earliest forms can be seen in ancient civilizations, where inscriptions and paintings were etched or painted on walls, caves, and rocks. These early forms of graffiti were used for various purposes, including recording historical events and expressing religious ideas. On the other hand, modern graffiti art is said to have begun in New York City in the 1970s. In the early days of graffiti painting, artists would use markers to write their names on subway trains and other public surfaces. This was known as "tagging." Graffiti artists gradually evolved increasingly complicated styles and techniques. They began by using spray paint to create enormous, bright paintings.Types of Graffiti Arts
