The admission process of the prestigious Delhi University is going to begin soon. Registration forms for Delhi University UG and PG courses can be filled online till June 7, 2018 till 6 pm. The notification for first cut-off marks list will be out on June 19th, 2018. The dates for entrance exams(for some courses) are 17th to 21st June 2018. The results will be announced in first week of July. Document verification, approval of admission and payment of fee can be done from 19th to 21st June.
Online applications-
Candidates will need to upload self-attested documents to get registered for admission. This rule has come into effect from this year. The documents needed to be uploaded are:- Class X board examination certificate and mark sheet
- Recent passport photograph
- Class XII mark sheet
- Scanned copy of signature
- Character certificate
- SC/ST/OBC certificate in case the concerned student is applying in that category
- Transfer certificate from the school It is expected that around five cut-off lists will be published this time. This is a first as well considering the fact that in the years gone by, DU has published as many as seven cut-off lists. The official statement from the university has stated that all details regarding registration, and the procedures to be followed thereof, will be provided in the information bulletin. The information bulletin will be updated on the site whenever any new information comes into the public domain. Normally the admission process goes on for two to three months. Procedure for filling up vacant seats As per rules for this year, if even after the fifth cut-off list there are seats in colleges they will need to declare how many seats are remaining and also get their students registered on their official websites. The first cut-off list will be announced on 19th June. It will be followed by subsequent cut-off lists on 25th June, 30th June, 6th July, and 12th July subsequently.
