- Initial symptoms
- Migraine symptoms stem from your nervous system. This type of headache usually starts slowly over 5 to 20 minutes and lasts for less than an hour. During this time, you may see the following symptoms.
- There may be black dots, wavy lines, flashes of light, or things not present. Tunnel vision (difficulty seeing) may occur or doesn't show up.
- Tingling-numbness on one side of the body.
