Telangana assembly elections will be held on 7th December 2018 to elect 119 legislators to the State Legislative Assembly. Out of a total 119 constituencies, 18 are reserved for SC candidates and 9 for ST candidates. The strongly entrenched K. Chandrashekar Rao-led Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) presently holds 90 of the total 119 seats and is confident of retaining power for the second term.
