On May 31, the company launched its latest edition of the smartphone in the Mi series, with the launch of Xiaomi Mi 8 at company's annual product launch event in Shenzen, China.
Mi 8 is the latest edition of Xiaomi's flagship Mi series. The smartphone comes with a 6.21-inch OLED screen provided by Samsung. The latest addition to Mi series, Mi8 is first of Xiaomi's phone with a notch that contains a 20-MP front camera, proximity sensor, infrared lighting and lens, and earpiece to enhance the experience of all the selfie lovers. The phone has both finger and facial recognition features. while the fingerprint sensor is at the back panel, the 3-D facial recognition sensor makes it difficult to break into the phone without phone owner's permission. The Mi 8 is set to be available for Indian smartphone users by the end of August, it is all set to challenge Vivo X21 that has been launched recently in India and falls under the same price range category.
