In fact, this OTT platform’s subscriber base has shot up 16-fold during the same period. Group CEO of Balaji Telefilms, Sunil Lulla, has said that AltBalaji had 23.5 million paid subscribers till May 24, 2019. Reports say 67% of ALTBalaji’s subscribers like to binge watch and prefer completing a show within 7-days from the time they start watching it.

Mentalhood

Actress Karishma Kapoor will make her debut in Mentalhood, an ALT Balaji web series. This series is based on motherhood and “the ups and downs, highs and lows and all the various emotions of being a mom”. This family drama is directed by Karishma Kohli and Sanjay Suri will be seen as Karisma Kapoor's on-screen husband. Other pivotal roles will be played by Sandhya Mridul, Shilpa Shukla, Shruti Seth, and Dino Morea.

Code M

Actress Jennifer Winget will be making her debut in a web series with Code M where she will be seen as a military lawyer in the courtroom drama. Jennifer will be playing the lead role of the protagonist Monica, who is passionate by nature and “first card-holder, candle-carrier, dog-rescuer, hand-holder on the spot”. This action-packed thriller will also see Tanuj Virwani in the lead role.

Mehrunissa

Mehrunnisa is a grand web-series that is based on Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan’s wife Noorjahan. Actress Mouni Roy will play the role of Noorjahan in this magnum opus.

Boss - Baap of Special Services

This is a Karan Singh Grover and Sagarika Ghatge starrer Hindi action/ drama web series. The teaser video with the first look was released in March’19.

Cold Lassi Aur Chicken Masala

This Hindi romance comedy web series will be starred by Divyanka Tripathi and Rajeev Khandelwal, where both will be seen playing the role of chefs. This Pradeep Sarkar directed mature love story is already doing the rounds on the internet.

Ragini MMS: Returns

This is the new addition to the Indian erotic-horror web series Ragini MMS franchise. Karishma Sharma, Riya Sen, Siddharth Gupta, and Nishant Singh Malkani starred “Ragini MMS: Returns” revolves around the scandalous MMS CD, uncanny haunting at an old deserted college, thrilling mysteries, and dark secrets. It will reportedly have 10 thrilling episodes.

Puncch Beat

This new 2019 romantic drama web series is created by Vikas Gupta and directed by Suyash Vadhavkar. In the leading roles of Puncch Beat will be Priyank Sharma, Harshita Gaur, Khushi Joshi, and Siddharth Sharma. Puncch Beat is a thrilling high school drama revolving around Rahat, Ranbir, Divyanka, and Padmini (the leading characters) of India's premium academic institution Rosewood High.
