Hotstar (one of the leading video-on-demand and streaming media apps) is adding innumerable series constantly as it increases by leaps and bounds in India. This Disney-owned OTT platform has received 300 million viewers /monthly active users during IPL 2019 alone, an extraordinary increase from 202 million in 2018.
When long-form digital content consumption in India is considered, Hotstar India now accounts for 40% of the total. Though ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is the biggest thing that is happening on this platform currently, here are some of the new and upcoming series on Hotstar Premium in 2019:
