By Air
Udaipur houses the nearest airport, the Maharana Pratap Airport, situated at a distance of 185 km from Mount Abu. The airport has direct flights from some of the major cities of India such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Jaipur.
By Train
Abu Road is the nearest railway station from the hill station, at around 28 km from the city. It is connected by direct trains from Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Jodhpur.
By Road
Mount Abu is reachable from some of the country's major cities via road, like Delhi, Ajmer, Udaipur, Jaipur and Bundi. Regular buses ply on these routes, which are run by the government and other private operators as well.
Best Time to Visit
Winter season is the best time to visit Mount Abu. Although, due to its height the weather is not extremely hot during summers as well. September to March are ideal months to visit this hill station.
