Case Study - Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO) GIS Mapping / Business Solutions

Problem Statement:

Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO), a wholly owned Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Power was looking for a way to map out their entire Power network.

Solution:

At Maps Of India, we provided POSOCO with India maps, individual state maps and region-wise maps mapping their entire electrical system in PDF and AutoCAD format. POSOCO is using AutoCAD formats for real-time tracking of their whole electrical system on their SCADA platform. In addition to providing Power maps in PDF and AutoCAD format, over 2,000 printed atlases were provided for distribution amongst various central and state authorities.

Also, an interactive map-based application was developed so that the senior management could view the entire network and details over the map in a user friendly and interactive manner.
