Objectives of the Scheme
- It aims at achieving the socio-economic development of different selected villages.
- It also aims to prepare village development plans based on needs, aspirations and potentials.
- It is working with a vision of eliminating gaps prominently from 8 sectors of development. It includes road connectivity, telecom connectivity, Aganwadi centre, drinking water facilities, School, Health Sub-Centre, Drainage and solid waste management.
- It also focuses on maximizing the coverage of schemes under central/state government which will benefit the individual/family. Also, to improve the infrastructure of sectors like connectivity, health, livelihood and education.
- This scheme aims to provide dignity and bring harmony to society, removing social evils like untouchability, discrimination and segregation. This could be done by eliminating the gaps in social and educational backwardness.
